Who would not want to win Tennis Rackets, Balls and a Guide for their family?

Unlike many sports, Tennis can be played for your entire life. It is something you can play from the time you are 5 until you are 85.

To Enter the Tennis Giveaway, please visit the U.S. Tennis Association's Website and then leave a comment here with a reason why you want to win this Tennis Giveaway.

Contest is Open February 13th- Feb 28th. See below for rules.

We will pick 2 Winners for this Giveaway- both of which will win rackets for each of their children, 1 adult racket, balls and a parents guide with easy drills.

On March 2nd, The U.S. Tennis Association will be holding the first National Youth Registration Day with 650 local Tennis Programs around the country.

Simply go to http://jrteamtennis.usta.com to either find a league near you, or to find your USTA section representative to contact about creating a team.

Tennis is a fitness activity that not only gets you and your kids up and moving, it teaches teamwork, works on individual growth and gaining a skill set, and it helps kids develop social skills and important values.

You can play Tennis with your kids or they can play in a local league. As your kids get older, most schools even have Tennis Teams.

Also, don't forget to check if there is a Jr. Tennis League near you. If there is, go to register your child for a Tennis League on March 2nd.

This giveaway is open to readers 18 years or older. You must live in the U.S. to win the contest. Please provide your email address and let us know how many kids you have in your post and ages.

We reserve the right to extend this contest if necessary.

The U.S. Tennis Association provided us with rackets and balls and even my 2 and a half year old was ready to try out the sport. Check our site later this month for our blog, photos and video as we try out tennis and teaching the drills to our kids.

Tennis is also affordable. The only cost to play is for a racket and ball. It is 50% less than many other youth sports, such as, football, baseball, and lacrosse.

I heart Tennis!

Tennis is such a wonderful sport! Not only can you play at an individual level, but you can also play as a team. I played tennis as a child and LOVED every minute of it. I would love to get my son involved in Tennis. He's 9 and loves sports, my daughter is 18 months and loves anything with bouncing balls! I'm sure she'd love Tennis too!

My kids are 11 months and 2-1/2 years old.

My husband would be thrilled

if I won this contest. His entire family plays tennis. I have no idea how to play! I would love to win this and be able to learn with my kids how to play. I know that tennis is a great physical activity, plus i really like the two great points that you made: Tennis is a game for life- you can play 5 to 85 and It's not expensive...all you need is a ball and a racket. Thanks for a great giveaway! Fingers crossed that I win.

starting all over

Yes, I used to play many a years ago as a teen. Really enjoyed the fun and friendships I had playing the sport. I now have two children, 5 year old and a 2 year old. Neither one have gotten the opportunity to touch a racket but, they do enjoy the bounce of the ball! I'd like to see them put the two together and have more fun. It definitely is another reason for this Mommy to get back into play!

Help! Family in need of recreation!

First off, great site! I was searching for affordable racquets for my girls and this is one of the sites that came up. I'm a single parent with four children. My last baby was a preemie and due to lack of support I was forced into a necessary solitude for two years of RSV season. That, along w/other more personal issues have been so draining mentally, emotionally and physically that the most excitement my children get out of me is going to HEB. It gets to the point where I have to take energy pills to do simple things. I have come to realize that not only is it unhealthy for me but for my children as well as unfair. They're missing out on the best part of their childhood and what should be the most memorable and developemental part of their lives by being stuck in the house with me. It took me to examine some of my own regrets/issues to realize this and know that it's something that I have to change NOW. So, I've been in the process of trying to come up with the most inexpensive things we can do as a family out of the house, and away from the tv and video games. The playgrounds in my very impacted neighborhood are always too crowded and for me very uncomfortable. I haven't been able to afford getting them into activities such as cheerleading, karate, and other things that other people I know had/have their children into. So when tennis dawned on me, I realized there is open access to courts we can go to on the weekends or evenings, we can learn together, and all I would have to do is find cheap racquets. I've been checking craigslist periodically for so long to see if there have been any posts for any inexpensive racquets I could get for everyone, that it's like fate to come across this giveaway! I do look forward to hearing from you soon!

Wow-We would love to try tennis!!!!

I'm a single mom of 3 beautiful children ages 2, 10, and 13. They are all very active children and would love the opportunity to learn tennis. I work 2 jobs and am in college full-time so this would be a perfect opportunity to share some healthy exercise time with them. Also, my oldest has down syndrome and it would be wonderful for his muscle tone. Please help us to enjoy some family time that I would otherwise not be able to give my children. We have a beautiful park just a few blocks away to play! Our email is j1971lm@aol.com and we can't wait to hear from you!!!

We actually have a tennis

We actually have a tennis court in our complex, but have yet to use it. With spring upon us, this would be a great time to start. The 3 boys are 12, 8 and 4.

This is awesome! I love

This is awesome! I love getting out and playing with the kids and tennis is a little more my speed! My 9 year old twins will love to learn a new sport and it will be fun for my 2 year old to get involved young!

Tennis, Anyone?

I have a two year old and while, she might be a little young, she's just around the corner for being ready to play TENNIS.

Tennis is a great family activity!

As a child, my brother, parents, and I would go out and play tennis every Sunday morning. It started out with informal instruction on hitting the ball and progressed into more formal instruction on technique and strategy. I played tennis from junior high all the way through college, with some great memories coming from my time on the court. I'd love to introduce it to my own two children and this prize package with junior rackets is a great way to start!

Tennis Racket Giveaway

I would enjoy so much to have the chance to play tennis with my children. I am excited that there is a guide with the prize too. Learning to play tennis would be great exercise and socialization for my girls. We homeschool. Thanks.
