Raising Children Who Soar Book Giveaway- Healthy Risk Taking in an Uncertain World

I have 3 young sons and each one is daring and adventurous. The youngest is the most cavalier of all of them.

I encourage my kids to try things and experiment even at the young ages of 7,5 and 3. But every mom finds herself in situations where she would rather her child be careful than take certain risks, even if we know they will learn something valuable from the experience or risk.

However, there are many times when we
stop our kids from doing something or we may not encourage them to try an activity, sport, a fear or other life happening. As parents, we are always walking a tightrope between encouraging our kids and wanting to keep them safe and letting them gain more independence and confidence as they try new things.

A new book by Susan Davis, Ph.D and Nancy Eppler-Wolff, Ph, D called Raising Children Who Soar helps parents navigate
the parenting years by showing us ways we can raise a confident and healthy child.

We are giving away a copy of the book- Raising Children Who Soar to 3 readers.

To enter the giveaway leave a comment below about why you want to win a copy of the book for yourself or someone else.

Contest is open August 28- September 15th, 2009 to US Residents.
