Coconut Macaroons - Yummy Healthy Simple Recipe

Coconut. It's not only tasty but new research indicates that the essential oils in coconut may have an anti-viral effect. In fact, some researchers suspect that the measles virus is the responsible agent for triggering Crohn's disease and that coconut oil may be able to penetrate the shell casing of this virus.

One way to get this healthy natural food into your diet, besides cracking a coconut, is by making this simple Macaroon cookie. Only five Ingredients required and so easy to make. This has become one of my new Favorite recipes.

COCONUT MACAROONS
2 Cups Shredded Unsweetened Coconut
1/4 Cup Flour
Pinch of Salt
2/3 Cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 Tsp Vanilla

Mix Flour and Coconut.Add salt, condensed milk and vanilla. Mix well. Drop rounded teaspoon sized balls onto a greased pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 -25 minutes. Tops will be golden brown.
