Reduce, Reuse, Recycle & REPAIR

We’ve been hearing that phrase “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” for a while now, but now there’s a little addition to the phrase. Think repair! Too often, and I know a few of these people myself, if something stops working people just run out and replace that item with one that’s even a little faster, newer or does more stuff. Ummm … did that money really need to be spent you ask. Maybe not.

I actually recall an incident when, and I won’t name names, our printer wouldn’t work. First mention was to go buy a new one right away. Well, I suggested we get someone to look at it and guess what? There was a little piece of paper jamming the printer.

So, in our efforts to reduce and reuse, we really need to attempt to remember to see if we can do some repairs at the onset of something breaking down. Obviously, time expended has to also be considered, but we want to share this great article on this subject with you:
